Branded campervan hire popup cinema and gaming station for EE

We provided a fully vinyl wrapped, branded campervan hire popup cinema. In the rear, there was a gaming station for EE. This campervan custom build came with a bespoke seating layout, large Smart TV installation, lighting, custom curtains and integrated power sockets.

This was for an EE competition staycation based on the grounds of the Walled Garden at Syon House, through Cake UK agency.

An outdoor PR competition activity with a branded campervan

This lovely September promotional activity was part of a competition EE ran, to win the “ultimate staycation weekend” in a teched up, branded campervan in the grounds of Syon House, London.

The campervan had an integrated smart TV and settings to run apple products inside, to include music and gaming experiences.

We applied a full vinyl wrap on the campervan for this project – including EE pantone matched interior cupboards and branded license plates.

The interior was given a luxurious feel, with colour themes cinema curtains custom made and fitted, along with a bespoke seating installation.

How did we help?

We provided the client with our scaleable vector campervan templates, ready for them to supply print ready artwork.

The EE design was simple – this assignment was all about getting the brand pantone colours spot on.

We also included the foamex, branded license plates to go on the campervan.

Auto electrics installation

Given all the technology to be installed in the campervan for the smart TV and gaming station, we needed to get some custom electrical points installed, for a professional finish.

There was a 16amp socket fitted in the engine bay, and then plug sockets hidden in the rear cupboard for the mobile phone and gaming device charging points.

We also fitted sockets in the main seating area for the smart TV – certified and safe.

Campervan soft furnishings and seating

we installed a custom seating layout inside the campervan, to increase the seaying capacity. The was colour matched to the curtains to block out the light for the on-screen viewing experience.

The TV installation came on a special swivel bracket to best position it around chosen seating layout – or indeed to rotate to the outside, should viewers prefer to sit on the lawn, in deckchairs.

A big part of this PR activity was to capture images for the media. This meant that the layout had to be on spec, including the layout in the boot. We designed and built a layout, complemented with colour compatible soft furnishings to ensure that the photo opportunities came together nicely.

It wasn’t just the campervan that came in the pantone matched vinyl wrap – we also laminate wrapped the rear gaming hook-up cupboard. Inside the cupboard, power sockets were fitted to discretely power any mobile phones or gaming devices.

Delivery and collection service

The campervan was deliverd to Syon House by our team, and collected after the event.

On delivery, we stayed for the media photoshoot, working with the photographer and stylist, to ensure that the campervan was best positioned for images.

We also did a formal handover, with a safety training session, and COVID safe sanitisation of the vehicle.
