Thursday, 12th March 2026 is bringing something rather exciting to our screens – the brand-new Netflix release Amandaland – and we have a little secret to share… If you’re watching the penultimate episode, keep your eyes peeled 👀 because you’ll spot a very familiar face.
Yes – That’s Buttercup. Our very own classic VW campervan.
And we couldn’t be prouder.

From Croydon to Camera-Ready
At Buttercup Bus, we’ve always said our campervans are more than vehicles – they’re characters. So when the opportunity came to feature Buttercup in Amandaland, it felt like the most natural next chapter.
With her pastel tones, vintage curves and unmistakable retro charm, Buttercup fits perfectly into the cinematic world. There’s something about a classic VW that instantly softens a scene – nostalgic, warm, and effortlessly photogenic.

We won’t spoil anything… but let’s just say Buttercup doesn’t fade into the background.
