Back in December, we were thrilled to be invited to a Sussex styled shoot to showcase one of our campervan glitter bar setups, which resulted in a gorgeous promo video by the talented Kent videographer, Charli May.

Storytelling by Charli May’s cinematic wedding films
We met lovely Charli May at a Winter Wonderland inspired photoshoot, at Pelham House in Sussex. The shoot concept and styling was put together by creative geniuses, Brogan Alexandra (model), and The Italian Dream (wedding planner). Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers were thrilled to be invited along – not only resulting in some incredible photographs but this perfectly captured promotional video of one of our classic campervan glitter bar setups. Who is Charli May?
Charli is a Kent based wedding videographer (although based in the South East, she loves to travel!). She started her business back in 2019, after completing her film production degree.
She has a passion for her craft, taking time to get to know her clients, and then creating films that reflect her wedding couple, and the tone and emotion of their day through music and style.

Why do we think that Charli is an awesome Kent videographer?
One of the best parts of being involved in a wide range of wedding industry styled shoots, is that we get to meet lots of different suppliers.
Our campervan glitter bar is an activity – so video is a brilliant medium to capture how the actvity takes place. A video speaks volumes, compared to written text, when it comes to describing the glitter bar experience.
When Charli May sent us the video she captured at the shoot, I was thrilled. It told the story of the experience, capturing details of every aspect – from the layout, aesthetics, pretty details, the application of the glitter, the PPE used in current times, and the glitter makeover results.
Capturing a service naturally in action, requires an unobtrusive approach, and an eye for detail, whilst keeping the participants and supplier at ease.
It’s not just the quality of the footage captured, but also the way it is cut and edited to tell the story so eloquenty.
These are qualities that are transferable to weddings and events alike. Charli was a natural with a magic touch – and I sincerely hope that we get to work with her again.

Our campervan glitter bar met Charli May Videography at a Sussex styled shoot at Pelham House
We love working at styled shoots – and when we heard that gorgeous model, Brogen Alexander AND incredible wedding planner Jessica at The Italian Dream had teamed up, my instinct was that they were going to curate an extrodinary team of suppliers to create some inspirational media. Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers were only too happy to jump on board- with our own aim to capture our Campervan glitter bar Sussex shoot, with professioanl images and media.
The theme was “Winter Wonderland” – with a cool blue pallete of colours. Our own Belinda Bus, was going to work perfectly for the shoot, in her perfectly matching paintwork.
We used the opportunity to showcase Belinda Bus as both a beautiful campervan wedding car – but also how the same vehicle can also be used as entertainment for your guests, booked as a popup glitter bar. This VW Camer popup glitter bar service would usually be an add-on to our campervan photobooth services. (A photobooth setup inside a classic campervan).
How lucky were we to have two gorgeous models to “glitterise”! For this shoot, we kept the glitter designs simple and elegant, to complement the stunning bridal makeup by Nadia Wyatt Haire and Makeup Artist and Winter Wonderland theming.
