Gate Street Barn is a beautiful wedding venue, nestled in the Surrey Hills, in a secluded spot surrouded by winding country lanes. Different Sat Navs can have verying results when locking down on the venue, so we have written this post to share the directions our own Surrey campervan wedding car and campervan photobooth drivers use. We hope that they will be useful to other guests and suppliers!

How to get to Gate Street Barn in Surrey via the M25
The address is Gate Street Barn, Gate Street, Bramley, Surrey, GU5 0LR. However, we advise that you use the directions below, rather than putting all your faith in to the Sat Nav.
For those travelling form the M25 towards Gate Street Barn should exit the motorway at Junction 10. The signpost for the exit will say ” SW London / Guildford/ Kingston”.
At junction 10, exit the motorway, and join the A3 towards Guildford and Portsmouth.
Exit the A3 at the Guildford turn-off and follow the signs pointing to Horsham, Shalford, Bramley on the A281.
Follow the A281 through the villages of Shalford and Bramley towards Grafham.
Three miles past Bramley Church, turn right at Palmers Cross opposite Whipley Manor Farm – the lane is called Thorncombe Street on Google Maps – but you may not be able to see the road name when driving – especially at night.
After approx. 1 mile, turn right into Gate Street. Carry on down Gate Street right to the end, and you will see the venue on the right.
We would recommend avoiding accessing the venue via Thorncombe Street, as this is a challenging route on a narrow country lane. (See illustrated map below).

I’m Nathalie, a mother with two little ones who love going out in the campers – be it a trip to the supermarket, or a holiday by the coast! My experience is pretty mixed… I studied to become an anatomist, wore a white coat and was a bit nifty with a scalpel when it came to dissections… but somehow ended up working for a software company and then specialised as a business consultant (for 15 years), gaining useful skills to set up my own company Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers… I love to eat cheese – the smellier and mouldier the better… hate ironing, have a handbag filled with lipstick and spanners… and I have a passion for all things VW…
