Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers® is now a registered trademark
Well, it has been a while since we have posted a blog entry – but today we have news to share…the Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers® name identified with the company’s “VW Camper Hire Services” is now a registered trademark in the United Kingdom (UK).
The Intellectual Property Office (IPO) recently accepted the trademark and issued Vanilla Chinchilla Ltd (our company name) with a registration certificate for the trading name and brand.
A bit of history about the company
When the company originally started trading as a sole trader in 2009, the original trading name was Vanilla Bus. A few months into trading, we realised that there was another non-registered company operating in a similar industry with the word “Vanilla”. (This other company is no longer trading). Wanting to keep our identity unique and recognisable, at the time, we changed our trading name to Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers.
Since the purchase of our first campervan (Pushka a 1972 VW Camper in cream), our company has grown in size and diversified. We have become very proud of what we have achieved under the Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers® brand. By registering our brand we provide a means for customers to instantly recognise our past and present services and capabilities.

Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers® Services
Vanilla Chinchilla Ltd trade under the brand name Buttercup Bus Vintage Campers®. The company is based in Croydon, and offers vintage VW Camper and Beetle hire services for promotional events, campervan photobooths, wedding transport and self-drive holidays. Currently operating with a fleet of six VW Campers from the 1970s and a retro, soft top beetle – we have enjoyed working on media shoots, experiential campaigns, rustic weddings, hospitality events and have been popular with holiday makers!
