Buttercup Bus VW Campers are thrilled to have been commended, following being made finalists in the Best Media and Creative Business and Entrepreneur of the year in the Croydon Business Excellence Awards.
2015 
has been a great year for our retro campervan hire company, having secured funding to purchase two additional campervans, bringing the fleet up to six campervans plus a beetle. We have joined local business networking groups and also joined the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Going to the Croydon Business Awards ceremony was not only a great excuse to get dolled up (and even swap the converse trainers for a flashy pair of high heels!), it provided an opportunity to network and meet some amazing local businesses. Some of the busineses were familiar friends, such as Ally Stonelock Photography, whom we have collaborated with in the past in a stunning, vintage wedding inspired photoshoot. It was also good to meet Yuliana from MyOutspace – a key contact and the catalyst towards securing our funding.

Thank you to White Label for organising the awards – lots of work must have gone into the organisation, and the glitzy awards went down a storm – with the live band, photobooth and casino. I hope that we get the opportunity to work with you in the future – perhaps with one of our own branded campers or funky campervan photobooths!
Finally, a huge thank you to the amazing Buttercup Bus team, who have made this commendation possible – I am lucky to have such brilliant drivers and campervan photobooth operators that are also really lovely people…. How many people have team members that pop round with strawberries grown from their garden, your favourite coffee or eggs from 2016/04 own chickens! Thank you ButtercupBus team!!!
Here’s to the year ahead, where things are going to get even busier now that we have two new campers in the fleet – Basil Bus, our pretty pastel green and cream campervan – and also Bumble, our honey and cream coloured campervan complete with sunroof! So, if you see us pootling past, make sure that you give us a big wave – and we will be sure to toot the horn, and wave back!
