Time to share one of Surrey’s best kept secrets…. our good friend Marko, at VW Sos… a stone’s throw from Buttercup Bus VW Campers HQ in Croydon.
Marko and his team restore retro VW Campers (along with some beautiful Fiat 500 oldies!) We purchased our very own Billie Bus from them last year, and she turned many heads as she completed a national festival tour for us.
Marko now has for sale a gorgeous, cherry red and white 1972 crossover bay VW Camper for £11,500. It is tax exempt, comes with a full MOT and is registered in the UK. I have seen this camper a few times now, and it really is lovely – complete with well fitted furnishings and impressive red upholstery to match the paintwork.
It was fully rebuilt last year (including bodywork, engine, mechanics and interior). What is also appealing is that Marko has a catalogue of the photos taken during the restoration so that you can see all the work that was undertaken…. yep – this camper is not just a pretty face… Marko’s team did a thorough job!!
