Today we have a guest blog post from Becky at Tentario, a Tipi hire company. We are really excited to have been added to their “friends” list, as VW Campers and Tipis were meant to go together like jelly and ice cream… Our campers have pootled up to quite a few Tipi events – to include weddings, birthday parties and festival themed events. What do we do?
We provide unique wedding and party venues in our UTTERLY STUNNING Tipis (ok, so we’re biased but we know you’ll love them too!). Also known as Giant Hats, Giant Hat Kåtas, Teepees and/or Tepees, our Tipis are made by Tentipi and are of Nordic origin. They come complete with many traditional features that have been modernised making them ideal for events.
Why have Tipis for your event?
Our Tipis are perfect for those of you who are looking for a venue to completely WOW your guests. They are a little quirkier than your average “sugar cube” marquee and are great for couples who love an outdoor wedding and want to create a rustic, natural vibe. They really are a blank canvas so you can put your own mark on them – decorating them as much or as little as you like so if you want to add a festival / woodland / vintage / glamour / *insert theme of your choice* theme it’s entirely up to you. Along with our standard lighting we can also add fairy lights and fire places (these go inside of the Tipis – one of our favourite parts!) which add bundles of atmosphere.

Tentario is run by Becky and Andy. Andy has been working with the Tipis for 10 years so what he doesn’t know about Tipis, isn’t worth knowing! With experience in running a variety of events ranging from intimate garden weddings to large corporate parties we understand that each client’s needs are different. We will listen carefully to your individual requirements and tailor our service to ensure each event is how you imagined it to be.
